Little known fact: Padre once toured with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Here's why they recruited him - most people spin the ball clockwise because it makes it easier to keep the ball spinning; Padre spins it counter-clockwise.  It adds a little spice to the game.  People don't know how to react, so the fans always waited on the edge of their seats to see what he would do next.  

While he took a trip down memory lane, Madre was feeling something more international.  She recently received these precious mugs from a friend as a gift.  They were made specifically for drinking glögg, a Swedish mulled wine made with various liquors and spices.  

It is delicious, especially when served in cute mugs and garnished with cinnamon sticks.
