I have a policy that I don't buy things from student fundraisers... partly because they're usually through school so buying from one student would mean buying from a ton of students or making a bunch of them upset that I only bought from the first one to show up... and partly because I'm cheap.

One student, though, was selling poinsettias for a fundraiser to raise money for her out-of-school dance studio.  I couldn't resist.  

Apparently I could resist giving it the TLC it needs, though.

Hopefully it's just a little thirst and the shock of having the heat turned on that turned my gorgeous Christmas plant into something straight out of a Dr. Seuss picture book.  

I'm crossing my fingers that Suze makes it through this.
