Ahhh the Aggie Ring.  

For most non-Ags, it's a mystery as to why this chunk of gold means so much to us.  Most Texans are aware that we make a big deal about it, but that's as far as the understanding goes.  I got my ring in April of my junior year, and I'm excited for all my fellow Ags who will get theirs this weekend.  

Today, my coworker's husband showed off his granddad's ring from the A&M College of Texas, class of '46.  The details don't show up very well in this picture, but I was blown away by how much the ring has stayed the same over 64 years.
