Welcome to my first PSA. 

I, Kelly, am here to warn you about the dangers of mowing the lawn near water meters.  

I always chuckle when I see people dodge out of the way instead of walking over man-hole covers and sewer grates.  Pssh.  It's not like they'd build an only semi-sturdy metal structure and leave it in the middle of the street or sidewalk.  It must be safe to walk on.  I naturally assumed the same thing about what appears to be a meter cover in my front yard.  

That is, until I fell into it while mowing the lawn today.  Yep, foot in hole.
